Logic System Asia Pacific
Logic Systems Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is a newly formed joint venture that has been established between the UK loudspeaker manufacturer and James Yeung and Lawrence Tay, owners and directors of Singapore distribution company Electro Systems Pte Ltd. The new, independent company has warehousing, stock, infrastructure and logistics based in Singapore, where the company is also registered. The recent announcement comes after months of speculation, in which Logic Systems loudspeakers have become increasingly visible in Indonesia, Singapore and China thanks to the combined efforts of Yeung and Tay.
The new company will handle all distribution business for Logic System products in the Asia Pacific region including China, forming a dealer network and managing that to maximise Logic System’s presence in that area.
Logic’s MD Chris Scott comments: “This is a strategic move based on months of planning with Lawrence and James. It’s a very exciting move for us as we now have a ‘local’ sales team in that area of the world which can truly maximise the full potential of our brand. Plus the whole logistics operation is simplified, meaning lead times are minimised, leading to an overall better service offering to our customers at the end of the day.”
