Broadcasting Joins Entech 2006

Broadcastpapers Pty Ltd, the publisher of online whitepaper library http://www.broadcastpapers.com, and Content + Technology magazine has announced its involvement with Entech 2006.

Broadcastpapers/Content + Technology will present the Broadcast Conference stream of Entech, which is being held from 13th-15th February 2006 at the Sydney Exhibition & Convention Centre, Darling Harbour. The stream will examine the management and technology issues confronting today’s broadcast audio professionals - from Software to Hardware, Regulation to Practice, Established and Emerging Standards.

Broadcastpapers/Content + Technology publisher Phil Sandberg has spent over 15 years reporting on technology and policy issues affecting the film, TV, radio, online, mobile and recording industries throughout Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

Says Sandberg: "The last decade or so has seen the professional audio sector undergo significant structural change, particularly in the area of broadcast audio. That change has not only included technological capability and affordability, but also organisational structures within and across companies involved in the field.

“The Entech tradeshow has risen to the challenge of filling a much needed niche in the local industry, first under Julius Grafton and now with Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF). Broadcastpapers/Content + Technology aims to contribute to this tradition by using our regional and global experience to help produce a programme that is relevant to broadcast audio professionals of today (and tomorrow).

“Whether you’re involved in audio for TV, radio, post-production, online or mobile, we think there’ll be something for you in the Entech Broadcast Conference, and as these different fields get closer and closer, we think there’ll be something for everybody.
