Soundcraft BB100’s to Sri Lankan Broadcast
The state-owned television broadcast company, Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, has purchased four Soundcraft 16-channel BB100 Broadcast Series desks for installation in their OB trucks.
The corporation is continuing a relationship with Soundcraft which began in the early ’90s with the purchase of a 32-channel Soundcraft 6000 — which is still in good working order. They opted for the BB100’s because of their excellent broadcast facilities, making them ideal for OB use.
Available in 10- to 32-channel configurations the BB100 is purpose designed for small format applications such as Production and On-Air use. The feature-rich console comes with four stereo or eight mono subgroups, and offers fully balanced input and output connections, as well as four internal mix minus feeds as standard. It is also easily configurable for a variety of custom options through internal factory-set links.
The consoles were supplied by Soundcraft’s Sri Lanka distributors, Hi-Fi Centre.
