ADB for China’s Premier Opera Venue
The Tender committee responsible for the Production Lighting in the construction of the new National Theater in Beijing, China recently awarded ADB’s exclusive partners and distributors in China (LSI Projects Ltd. and ACE) the contract to supply and install dimmer and control systems for this premier venue in China.
LSI Projects Ltd– ACE will supply over 1400 Channels of ADB 3, 5 and 10 kW dimmers housed in 17 EURODIM 3 cabinets for the National Theatre Opera House. All Eurodim cabinets are equipped with dual backup processing electronics and can be centrally controlled via the Advanced Dimmer Network and Dimmer Manager System.
With an already impressive list of hundreds of installations around the world from La Scala in Milan to the Opera Garnier in Paris, and now The National Theatre in Beijing, ADB’s Eurodim 3 continues to be the number one choice for professional theatre dimming.
In addition to ADB Eurodim 3 the National Theater also chose ADB control desks. The opera lighting system will be controlled by two top of the range PHOENIX 10 XT systems and specially adapted MENTOR 1024 control desks. This whole system will be linked via an Ethernet Network and additional ancillary equipment by ADB shall be included such as our remote Video Screens (Video Node).
ADB’s exclusive partners LSI Projects Ltd. from the UK and ACE from China were able to prove to the tender committee after successful demonstrations that ADB products combined with the services provided by our local partner companies were the best possible solution for this premier opera venue in China. The Beijing National Theatre is due to open mid 2006 and will serve as an important cultural showcase to the world.
