Whilst night falls in J’Paris, J breaks for d&b in Sydney
As d&b audiotechnik's J-Series are being arrayed at their inaugural launch at Siel in Paris, does it then follow that they will be ground stacked at their other simultaneous port of call down under, the Entech exhibition in Sydney, Australia?
National Audio Systems (NAS), d&b audiotechnik's distributor in Australia, will use this bi-annual international exhibition at Darling Harbour between 13-15th February to launch d&b's latest ground breaking J-Series loudspeaker range that has been specifically designed to line up and go the distance. The high output J-Series reaches into large-scale sound reinforcement applications and consists of the J8 and J12 full range loudspeakers and the J-SUB cardioid subwoofer, which are acoustically matched and constructed to be mechanically compatible both in flown or ground stacked arrays regardless of their global orientation. Both the J8 and J12 loudspeakers produce a flat vertical wave front and a symmetrical horizontal constant directivity dispersion pattern of 80 degrees for the J8 and 120 degrees for the J12; this is maintained down to 250 Hz. The J8, J12 and J-SUB produce maximum sound pressure levels at one meter of 145 dB, 143 dB and 138 dB respectively.
Also on show will be a selection of d&b's more eminent product lines namely the Q-Series loudspeaker range, the renowned D12 amplifier and their ROPE C drag and drop remote control software. NAS will not only be available on their stands G30 and P31 to provide any technical advice or answer any questions relating to these products, but will be hosting practical and theoretical demonstrations of d&b's loudspeaker systems every day in their bespoke demonstration room number 3. So if you would like to be the first in the Southern Hemisphere to hear all d&b's lines about their exciting new product series make sure you visit the NAS stands in February. If going the extra distance is also of interest then get in line now by pre-registering for one of the seminar sessions at www.nationalaudio.com.au and follow the links for seminar registration. Hope to sea you for the launch at Darling Harbour.
