SIB 2006 Confirms Leadership
The 20th edition of the biennial SIB International show for event and entertainment technology was held simultaneously with the Disma Music Show and according to ISF audited figures – a new feature for 2006 – the two expos chalked up an overall total of 63,585 trade visitors, an increase of 2.3% on 2004, the year in which the previous shows were held together. Foreign visitors at 8950 were seen as particularly important as they strengthen the world leadership of the expo – which is organised by Rimini Fiera, promoted by APIAS and sponsored by SILB and ILDA.
The joint event was opened on March 11th by Italy’s Minister for Cultural Assets & Activities, Professor Rocco Buttiglione.
