QSC Strengthens Position in South East Asia

QSC Audio has announced the appointment of three new distributors in South East Asia, designed to strengthen the company’s profile in these developing territories.

   Representing them in Singapore and Brunei with immediate effect are Electro-Acoustic Systems Pte Ltd. The company was founded in 1983 to address the market's need for expertise in the design and installation of high powered sound reinforcement systems in corporate and public amenities. They have since, grown rapidly to become one of the leading system integrators in the country, working along with many other contractor firms. By the beginning of the millennium had registered an increase of more than 800% in sales turnover, with a staff of 56 personnel.

   Over in Indonesia Goshen Electronics now take over the exclusive QSC distribution. Originally known as E&E Indonesia, in July 2003 they broke away to form the new business. The director of the company is Ir. Cunario Suriya, and Goshen is currently a leading Pro Audio distributor in the Country.

   Finally, in Malaysia, QSC Audio have turned to the experienced Chan Lee Prosound Sdn. Bhd. Founded in 1978 as Syarikat Chan Lee, the company specialized in retailing and renting sound and lighting products. Under the direction of Chan Lee Piau, Syarikat Chan Lee grew as the sales and marketing entity, while Chan Lee Sound & Light Sdn. Bhd. handled equipment rentals.

   Today, Chan Lee Prosound specialises in marketing some of the world’s most prominent pro audio brands including QSC.

   Commenting on the appointments, Mauricio Saint Martin, QSC’s diretor of sales, International, said: “I am more than excited to welcome our three new distributors in South East Asia. We have tremendous confidence on their ability to serve current QSC customers and to strengthen our presence in the territory; we are positive that the improvement will be noticed in a very short time.

   “This will enable QSC to maintain the great momentum the organisation is presently going through and I am confident it will provide an excellent opportunity for both sides.”
