grandMA video Served Petronas Gala Dinner
Ranked among Fortune Global 500's largest corporations in the world the Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas recently celebrated its annual Petronas Majlis Sekalung Budi (Gala Dinner) in Kuala Lumpur’s Convention Centre. 1,800 selected guests enjoyed exclusive shows in three ballrooms.
Lighting designer and programmer Jeyalan Kasi created the lighting for the afternoon and two grandMA full-size, two MA NSPs as well as two grandMA video media servers were his tools for this task.
Each room was furnished with eight Martin MAC 2000s, six Martin MAC 600s and 28 modules of 121 Barco miPIX-20 LED units each using bitmap effects from the media server. The LEDs were placed behind a large white curtain as backdrop to provide more flexibility for the lighting design.
Lighting equipment was supplied by Memories Entertainment, Malaysia.
