Paul Movies Premiers d&b at PALME in Mumbai

Under the direction of Andrew Paul (pictured), Paul Movies has almost 50 years of history in India and became a sales partner of d&b audiotechnik in late 2006. With an enviable reputation as India's premier resource for pro-audio, multimedia and video equipment, Paul Movies has in just these few short months begun the process of establishing the brand and will be exhibiting a range of d&b systems at PALME in Mumbai at the beginning of October, on their stand number A29. Company director Andrew Paul considers that d&b audiotechnik's products "represent the Rolls Royce of systems and that is what we want to sell in India, high quality sound reinforcement systems."
Although the Company is based in New Delhi, existing contacts through their activities as an established major player in the audio visual market has seen Paul Movies forge links with significant audio specialists in Bangalore to the south of the sub-continent, and Bombay to the west. "We aim to grow this market in the way d&b has done around the world; it will take time for users to learn the value of the products. Engaging known audio specialists regionally gives us the foundation to build the knowledge and training required."
Paul Movies has already begun that process: "We will be talking to audio engineers, as we did in July, when we invited over 300 rental and installation specialists to a demonstration of the Q-Series systems at the Oberoi Hotel Ballroom in Delhi. We let them hear the systems and decide for themselves." A demonstration that immediately saw results with Q being specified for a John Paul Gaultier launch event in Delhi in the middle of September.
"We will have several examples of d&b audiotechnik products live on the stand at PALME and a demo facility where interested parties can experience directly the quality of d&b's loudspeakers."
