New Allen & Heath Products at Pro Light & Sound
Allen & Heath will be unveiling several new products at the forthcoming Pro Light & Sound exhibition in Frankfurt next month. Exhibiting on stand B22, Hall 8.0, the mixer manufacturer will announce new additions to the iLive digital mixing range, and two new models from the industry-standard Xone Series of DJ products.
It will also be the European debut for the new Xone:S2 installation DJ mixer, the Xone:2D digital audio converter/controller, and the WZł12M rackmount/desktop dedicated monitor mixer.
The Xone:S2 is a 19" rack-mounted 4U mixer designed for use in clubs and bars, and by professional mobile DJ's. Available with either linear or rotary VCA channel faders, it has 4 stereo dual-input channels, 2 mono mic/stereo line channels, a USB audio interface, and boasts many features to both enhance the DJ's performance and aid the installer.
A follow-up product to the acclaimed Xone:3D mixer/controller, the new Xone:2D is the combination of a 4 stereo channel USB soundcard and MIDI controller, which DJ's can connect to their existing analogue mixer to integrate leading DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor DJ Studio, and create a complete digital DJ mixing system.
Finally, the new WZł12M monitor mixer is a rackmount/desktop console which combines the design principles of the industry-standard MixWizard Series with many modern monitor facilities, implemented in the recently launched GL2800M monitor mixer. Furnished with 16 mono mic/line inputs, the desk boasts 12 mix outputs, which can be assigned as either mono or stereo pairs to take advantage of the recent trend towards personal monitoring.
