Chinese Consultants Catch Butterflies
On April 18 Outline's exclusive distributor for China, Guangzhou ACME Show Technology Co. Ltd., organized a seminar/presentation of Outline's entire product range at the Regal Palace Theatre, in collaboration with the Research Institute of TV and Electroacoustics of Beijing and Beijing Hengyiyuan Concert Productions Co. Ltd.
With this seminar, the manager of Guangzhou ACME Show Technology Co. Ltd., Wyman Lee and Outline's vice president and international sales manager, Giorgio Biffi, intended introducing Outline’s complete product line, sold in China under the Butterfly brand.
At the seminar, Prof. Fan Bao Yuan and Prof. Shen Hao described attendees the tests recently carried out at their Institute on a number of Outline/Butterfly products, confirming the high quality of the products and their full respect of specifications declared by the Italian manufacturer.
They also recommended such products for high profile professional sound reinforcement applications for theatres, auditoria, live concerts halls and wherever high quality is required, thanks to their quality and performance.
The co-owner of Outline then presented the company’s philosophy and plans, describing the full range of products and the numerous patents obtained by Guido Noselli and Outline's R&D department over recent years. A significant part of the speech described the proprietary software designed to assist Outline/Butterfly users and clients in the installation and best possible use of Outline products.
A listening demo of the famous Butterfly line-array and other loudspeaker models was held to allow the attendees to appreciate the quality of the sound and the performances of Outline/Butterfly technology.
Giorgio Biffi then introduced leading Italian acoustic sound engineer Giancarlo Gennaro, who talked about his experience last February as assistant on the set-up of the complex sound system installed for the Winter Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies in the Olympic Stadium in Turin. Many pictures and diagrams of the installation were shown and explained to the audience, which consisted in almost 200 prominent Chinese acoustic consultants, sound engineers, contractors, rental companies and audio exporters.
