W-DMX at Slek ‘New Air Hostess Show’ Final
The Slek ‘New Air Hostess Show’ Final, hosted by China Southern and Guangdong TV Station, recently took place in the 800-square-metre studio of Guangdong TV Station, with live broadcast by Guangdong TV Satellite Channel and Pearl Channel to all parts of the world. Fifty air hostess candidates presented their individual charm on stage to hundreds of millions of viewers.
The event used W-DMX of Wireless Solution Sweden AB to transmit DMX signal to four High End Systems DL.2s and a HOG iPC, along with numerous automated lights. With the tight schedule, there are only two days to set up and program the lighting systems, and W-DMX was an excellent choice in this case, which ran stably during the rehearsal and live broadcast.
Guangdong TV lighting designer Chen Weiming was very happy with the results and the response to the show was an all time high. Lighting equipment was supplied by Guangzhou Leifull Light & Sound Technology. Niclas Arvidsson, international sales manager for Wireless Solution said: “We have been extremely pleased with the wonderful work Leifull has done for us in the Chinese market and we look forward to continued success with them.”
