Klotz Digital Announces Great Successes and Key Personal Changes in its Asia Pacific Subsidiaries

Klotz Digital Australia has won the tender for the rebuild of Austereo Melbourne. Klotz Digital Australia will provide Vadis D.C.II mixing consoles, Vadis 888 frames for all on-air studios, pre-production studios and all news booths. In addition to this Klotz Digital Australia will also provide all signal routing for the main control room (MCR) and a Varizone digital public address system. “We are honoured to have been chosen again by Austereo and are looking forward to be involved in this exciting project. Through the close work between the Austereo engineers and our staff, I believe that we have come up with a system design which will set the standard for a long time to come,” says Patrick Salloch. In addition to winning this prestige contract, Klotz Digital Australia has also announced winning the ABC Melbourne tender late in 2007, which will see the Australian branch deliver and configure 16 on-air studios for the ABC between now and the end of 2008. “Winning both of these fantastic jobs is not only a great success for us, but it also sends a clear message to the rest of the industry that we are still the leaders in our field and our customers are satisfied not only with our products and services but also trust in our local staff and our commitment to the region. A lot of manufacturers have been trying to copy what Klotz Digital has done over the years, but none of them have shown the commitment to the Australian market and committed as many resources as we have done and will continue to do,” continues Salloch.

In further developments in the region Patrick Salloch has been promoted to general manager of Klotz Digital Asia Pacific. Salloch, who has managed Klotz Digital’s Australia office since 2006, will take over the position from outgoing incumbent Thomas Marcher, who has left the company due to personal reasons. Salloch’s promotion is effective as of the 1st of January 2008, and was announced today by Thomas Klotz, CEO of Klotz Digital AG, to whom Salloch reports. “In view of the continuingly positive sales developments and the track record of success he demonstrated in Australia during the last year, Patrick is the worthy and ideal successor to lead both of our offices in the Asia Pacific region”, says Klotz. “He is well prepared and will take the right action to manage a smooth transition to this new situation while continuing our successful business in Asia.”

Salloch’s promotion is accompanied by further personnel changes. Also effective immediately Keith Prestidge will overlook and manage all engineering resources as technical director Asia Pacific. Prestidge has been with Klotz Digital since 2001. Since then he has been involved in all large broadcast and PA projects throughout the entire region and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within Klotz Digital’s product range to his new position. Salloch says “Keith is a seasoned professional who has proven his engineering expertise and project management experience time and time again. I had the pleasure of working with Keith since 2006 and I couldn’t think of anyone more capable to lead our engineering departments in both offices.”

Klotz adds: “These appointments underline the importance we attach to continuing to develop the enormous potential of our products in the vast Asia Pacific PA and Broadcast markets. We are delighted that these proven and well-deserving members of the Klotz Digital team will devote their energy towards the opportunities in the entire Asia Pacific region now.”
