K.M.E. Distribution in China

K.M.E. Klingenthaler Musikelektronik GmbH has appointed Dragon (Hong Kong) Stage Technology Ltd. as its exclusive distribution partner for the Chinese market.

During last years PALM Expo in Beijing were K.M.E. exhibited for the second time the two companies came into contact. Johnny Tang, CEO of Dragon (Hong Kong) Stage Technology Ltd. said: “At the The Bank Club & Lounge and Jasmine Restaurant & Lounge in Beijing we got the chance to listen to K.M.E. systems, the line array PANO system and QS 1082 of the Prestige Series which have been installed there. We were so astonished about the excellent sound quality that we decided to visit K.M.E.’s stand at the PALM Expo to learn more about the company. Also, the high-class quality ‘Made in Germany’ solid manufacturing of the products and the good service provided by the K.M.E. team convinced us to establish the brand K.M.E. in Hong Kong first.”

The final distribution agreement was made between K.M.E.’s sales director Kerst Glass and Johnny Tang during his visit of the K.M.E. facilities in Klingenthal in December 2007.

Based in Hong Kong, Dragon Stage Technology Ltd. recently opened a new office in Guang Zhou to establish K.M.E. in mainland China also. There, Mr. Tang and his team provide discussions and small group seminars and potential customers can listen to the systems in a separate demo room.

Kerst Glass said: “Dragon (Hong Kong) Stage Technology Ltd. is a young and dynamic team. We soon discovered that we have a good chemistry and that they are a competent partner for representing our interests on the Chinese market in a close cooperation with us. We are confident that we are accentuating our successful business relationship further on.”
