GenESTA Launches Online Discussion Community
May 20th marks the launch of GenESTA's new electronic discussion group, allowing ESTA members to have year-round communication with each other. Dealers, manufacturers, production companies and ETCP technicians will be able to post and reply to online messages, fostering healthy lines of contact where face-to-face meetings are not always possible.
The GenESTA Message Board can be accessed at www.esta.org/message and is open to both members and non-members. All users are required to register and a moderator will activate their account. Based on their membership status and type of membership, each user will be placed into categories. Registration is open to anyone in the industry, however only ESTA Members and ETCP Certified Technicians will be allowed to post in their specific member discussion groups. All are welcomed to read posts in the open forums.
The new online community also allows prospective ESTA members to ask questions about ESTA, and get more information about an organization that can offer tremendous benefits to their business. The forum features specific categories to allow dealers, manufacturers and production companies to have independent discussion. There are also special sections for ETCP Certified Technicians to discuss questions and share techniques.
This unique system promotes open communication between designers, technicians, dealers and manufacturers within the entertainment services industry and is not affiliated with any publication or equipment manufacturer.
Forum discussion groups will be moderated by the dedicated GenESTA committee members and will be administrated by ESTA.
This service is free to registered users and is available via the web 24 hours a day. For more information please contact message@esta.org.
