W-DMX Performs Throughout China
Following a hugely successful Olympic Opening Ceremony in Beijing last August, Wireless Solution Sweden AB continues to help electrify audiences all over China. As the most populous country in the world, China doesn't hold back when it comes to over-the-top projects. W-DMX dealer Leifull Light & Sound Technology of Guangzhou has used the product with great success, making large-scale lighting easy and efficient.
The Nokia New Model Mobiles Promulgation Concert held in December 2007 in ‘Windows of the World' Park in Shenzhen used two W-DMX transmitters and eight receivers to control 20 Omarte searchlights and 100 Omarte moving-head lights. The concert, which was the product launch for Nokia Music Mobile N95, hosted a variety of famous performers sharing their love of music. Lighting Design by Zhou Xiaolin.
The Lantern Festival Evening called ‘Here Comes the Spring' (pictured) held by the Hunan Provincial TV Station and televised in February 2008 used two W-DMX transmitters and three receivers to control four High End Systems DL.2 digital lights. Zhou Xiaolin was the lighting designer. The Lantern Festival is 15 days after Chinese New Year and an important tradition in China.
Four W-DMX transmitters and 16 receivers were used during the touring show ‘Travel Happily in China' in Shenzhen. The show invites the most popular singers in China to perform for audiences all over the country, especially in cities with key points of interest. Lighting designer Sun Lixing created powerful images with light for an unforgettable backdrop.
The W-DMX products used in these projects were all supplied directly by Leifull, who also supported the lighting design. Eric Lee, sales manager for Leifull, says: "What's amazing is that we can achieve an enormous span of control with just a few W-DMX transmitters and receivers. It makes our job incredibly easy.
