Martin EvenLED for Extremely Uniform Projection

EvenLED from Martin Professional is a high-powered modular system of RGB LED panels used to back-project a completely uniform field of light over a projection surface.

Each EvenLED module consists of 16 evenly spaced and individually controlled 6-watt RGB LEDs, capable of projecting a totally even and flicker free field of light onto cycloramas and other backdrops.

EvenLED solves one of the oldest lighting problems - a perfectly uniformly illuminated background - enabling static or dynamic backgrounds that simply were not possible before. The modular system has many advantages over traditional cyclorama tungsten sources including greater evenness of field and a longer operational life-time. Power consumption is also less with less heat generated.

EvenLED can be used for sharp silhouettes, colour fades, power flashes, drifting shadows, morphing effects, and more. It can also be used for skylines, borders, illuminated floors and walls and is useful in a wide variety of applications including TV studios, theatres, concerts and even architecture.

DMX controllable and capable of extremely smooth dimming, each colour features smooth 16 bit resolution and waves or gradation of colour across a surface is easily achieved. By driving segments of the EvenLED wall separately, all shades of colour can be achieved over the height of the surface for effects like a multi-hued sunset or rainbow of colour.

Each lightweight module is approximately 1 x 1 meter square, is built tough and is easy to assemble. Needing less than 0.5m of stage depth, up to 12 modules can be stacked high with an unlimited number arranged horizontally. EvenLED is totally convection cooled for silent operation (no fans) and is exceptionally service-friendly.

EvenLED is a proven product having already been utilized to great effect in several TV studios such as France 2, Canal+ Sport, M6 Television and Danmarks Radio, as well as theatre environments, including the current UK touring production of Mary Poppins.
