RCF TT+ Series Debut Concert in Singapore

The Hokkien Association of Singapore recently celebrated their annual festival with a Hokkien Folk Song Concert. The show was held in the 900-seater concert hall at the Singapore Conference Hall (SCO). The show comprised top local touring musicians backing up various artistes from Taiwan and Singapore.
The production was handled by TCR Music Station, which is known for producing and organising Chinese Retro Folk Concerts (Min Yao & Sin Yao). FOH engineer Dominic Koh of Munique AV Systems had selected RCF's TT+ touring and theatre series as the FOH plus RCF stage monitors and the new ART 7-Series as front fills.
One of the main reasons for choosing the TT+ system was its self-power nature and built-in DSP, saving the need for amplifier racks at the side-wings of the stage. Four cabinets of RCF TTL33-A line-array modules and a pair of TTS28-A subs where used in a ground-stack set-up at both sides of the stage for the front-of-house. Eight TT25-A and four TT22-A were used as monitors on stage and four ART722-A were set up as front fills.
Mr. Chai Yi Ren, the executive producer of TCR Music Station, commented: "This is the first time we've used the RCF speaker system, but the sound quality was surprising good allowing for the fact that we were given a very short period of time for set up and rehearsals. Overall, we are very satisfied throughout the show."
Rental equipment was from Acoustic Professional and Sound Image Productions.
