Cheat the Tax Man - Register for Showlight 09 Now!
With the end of the tax year just a few weeks away, now is the perfect time to register for Showlight 09. Leave it too late and you won't get the tax benefit for another 12 months!
If you need them, here are a few more reasons to register for Showlight: Haris Zambarloukos, Mamma Mia! (the movie); Angus Farquhar, The Storr Project; Iain Ruxton, Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi; Bernie Davis, The Royal Variety Performance; Paul Collison, Beijing Olympics; Dorian Kelly, The poetics of light; Joe Breslin, Rick Dines, Nick Mobsby, BBC TV Scotland; Andi Watson, Radiohead; and Roberto Schaeffer, ASC, Quantum of Solace. These are just a few of the many speakers who will be giving delegates the benefit of their knowledge, their experience and their time.
As well as listening to the speakers, Showlight delegates get the unique opportunity to also talk to them - over coffee, lunch and tea and at the Conference Dinner. Add to this the visits programme to all the best that Glasgow has to offer, including Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, City Halls, the Philips factory at Hamilton, The House for an Art Lover, not one, but two distilleries and Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama, and you have a three day event that makes for a once in a lifetime experience.
None of this would be possible without the Showlight sponsors, in particular Martin Professional, XL Video and LSI Projects, plus some 30 exhibitors, including companies such as Artistic Licence, City Theatrical, Elstree Light & Power, Green Hippo, High End Systems, Barco and MA Lighting.
At £180 Showlight 09 is the best bargain you'll get all year. Particularly if you cheat the tax man and book before the end of March!
Showlight takes place from May 16 to 19, 2009, at BBC Scotland's new state of the art headquarters in Glasgow. Visit www.showlight.org for more information and the delegate registration form.
