RDM Plugfest Back by Popular Demand
The RDM Plugfest held in January was so successful that ESTA has been requested to hold another one at the July meetings at the Dallas/Ft. Worth Solana hotel in Westlake, Texas. The Plug Fest will run three days: Friday, July 17 from 16:00 to 22:00; Saturday, July 18 from 09:00 to 22:00; and Sunday, July 19 from 09:00 to 14:00.
The RDM Plugfest will be an informal event, with the only people around to see the equipment work or fail being engineers and technicians, not customers. The event will provide an opportunity for manufacturers' engineers to see if their products will work with the products of numerous manufacturers, find out on the spot what is
wrong, fix it, and try again. With all the members of the RDM Task Group that wrote the Standard on-hand it also provides the single best resource to get questions answered on implementation questions and learn from everyone's shared experience and knowledge.
