QSC Goes 24/7 for its Q-Sys Networked Audio Product

QSC Audio has broadened the scope of its established Technical Service Group to provide 24/7 support for its newly-launched Q-Sys environment, which has been receiving rave notices since its world launch at this year's InfoCOMM Show.

The Q-Sys platform takes an evolutionary step forward within the realm of DSP and integration, providing digital audio signal routing and processing technology combined with complete system monitoring and control via an engine that offers unprecedented power, speed, and versatility

John Newlander, QSC director of technical services, says that the customer support will be in the form of a global, regionally-based, 24/7 post-sales technical back-up dedicated to Q-Sys product.

A regional support number has been established in Hong Kong with qualified personnel to support the entire Asian and India markets. Likewise there is a support number (and personnel) in Belgium, to cover Europe and the Middle East, while QSC will provide support for the Americas (and rest of the world) from its headquarters in Costa Mesa, California. "We are guaranteeing a response time of 30 minutes or less," states John Newlander.

In addition to live 24/7 product support, QSC will launch a web-based online knowledge bank later this year, allowing customers to search for solutions to their questions online - with a provision to submit "trouble tickets" if they do not find the answer they are looking for.

Because of the highly complex nature and the critical availability requirements of advanced networked audio systems, this 24/7 global support is designed to provide the highest level of technical support and it is being offered exclusively to Q-Sys product customers.
