dBTechnologies DVA Tops World Chinese Entrepreneurs Summit
The Sixth World Chinese Entrepreneurs Summit in Macau was hosted at the Venetian Hotel Convention and Exhibition Center in October with 1300 delegates representing 35 countries. The summit was collectively organized by the World Chinese Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Bureau, China International Trade Promotion Committee and the Taiwan Business Association. The number of participants exceeded all previous years, being the largest gathering of delegates at this convention to date.
In order for all delegates to gain the messages brought by the speeches and presentations in a clear and precise way it was important that the audio system was of high quality. The dBTechnologies DVA Line Array system was provided and installed by Cyber Audio Engenharia. They recommended the Italian brand to the convention knowing that it was perfect for the job. CYBER bought their first DVA Line Array system more than a year ago from distributor Guangzhou Sharp Dragon Electronic Technology Ltd and have been so pleased that since then they have more than doubled their initial inventory. CYBER are one of the leading rental companies in Macau and are now a great supporter of powered speakers from dBTechnologies. Their top team of engineers commented: "The DVA system is so flexible, light and powerful, it is very suitable for rental as well as fixed install in a variety of main speech and music PA requirements."
CYBER installed two lines of eight, 16 self powered DVA T4 Line Array and six self-powered DVA S10 subwoofers with built in delay units in the banqueting suite where dinner and a reception were held. A further 16 DVA T4 cabinets in arrays of 4 x 4 plus supporting subwoofers served the convention meeting room. The DVA system being light, compact and ergonomically designed, fitted beautifully in to the lush surroundings of the Venetian banqueting and meeting facilities, while doing their job in a clear and powerful way with excellent wide coverage. The Chinese Entrepreneurs Summit lunch reception and meetings were reported as being an enormous success, not least of which for the quality of audio that the DVA system brought to the occasion.
The business requirement and appreciation of quality audio systems in general is developing quickly in South East Asia. People are now demanding not only powerful systems, but also excellent quality systems that provide an even and clear sound across the frequency spectrum with even coverage.
