GTV 9 Choose Compulite Vector Console
After an extensive search for new lighting consoles for their Melbourne studio, TV station GTV 9 has purchased a Compulite Vector through the Australian agent Coemar De Sisti Australia Pty Ltd.
The Vector is Compulite’s most recent console and one that the staff at GTV 9 had involvement in developing and fine-tuning. It features an enormous range of functions and utilises the familiar Windows XP operating system software. This makes it extremely easy for new operators to quickly come to terms with the host of powerful on-board features and allows them to fully customize the desktop using the “drag and drop” facility to suit individual operating styles.
Commenting on the purchase, Rohan Thornton, lighting supervisor at GTV 9, said: “Compulite and CDA have provided software and hardware support that is second to none. Our participation in the development of the Vector has simply cemented that relationship. To be honest, there are so many great functions on the console they are too numerous to mention.”
