Show Technology Opens Melbourne Branch
Show Technology managing director, Emmanuel Ziino, comments: “The market is as dynamic as ever, and as the market leader we strive to meet its needs. After years of being solely based in Sydney, the opening of our new regional offices give us several benefits - a greater reach, a greater degree of flexibility and speed, and better market feedback for example. But most importantly it gives us an improved level of market contact and allows us to better serve our customers.”
The new Melbourne office will be headed by an experienced industry veteran and Melbourne local, Paul Nicolaou, who brings with him years of know-how in installation, sales and service. Aiding Paul to run the branch will be Steve Terzakis in customer service. In addition to offering Show Technology’s full line of lighting products, the new office will also feature a substantial warehouse full of PRO SHOP products and include comprehensive showroom facilities incorporating the company’s range of professional, PRO SHOP and architectural lighting products.
A merry time was had by all at the opening celebration which was hailed as a great success by the strong Show Technology team present. Special guests included Søren Storm, managing director of Martin’s Singaporean subsidiary, as well as Martin’s International Stage, Studio and Event Segment manager, Mark Ravenhill.
The MAC 700, Martin’s latest high performance luminaire in its line of award-winning MAC moving heads, had its official Australian launch at the opening. "The MAC 700 represents a big step forward for Martin in so many technological areas,” comments Mark Ravenhill. “The Australian market is a leading and demanding market, and runs at the forefront of entertainment production technology. The launch of the MAC 700, coinciding with the opening of Show Technology’s new facility in Melbourne, represents another strong move forward in both product and support areas for all of the designers, owners and users of intelligent lighting equipment in Australia, which I am very excited to be a part of.”
