DL2 Wins at InfoComm
High End Systems' DL2 digital light fixture won as the best fixture in its class in the Rental & Staging Systems Product Awards, presented on 7th June at the InfoComm 2005 tradeshow in Las Vegas. DL2 was honored as Best Lighting Product, Automated/Moving Luminaire.
The awards honored outstanding products introduced in 2004, specifically designed for the rental and staging market. Product nominations were chosen by a panel of judges consisting of the magazine staff and members of the ICIA Rental and Staging Council. Awards were the result of the magazine's readers' poll.
This is the third industry award for DL2 this year. DL2 is “smart” automated lighting system featuring an integrated digital media server. This single unit hangs and acts like a moving light –no separate server needed at the FOH. Special features include standard Digital Eye infrared camera, wireless DMX, ability to import 3D object images, and ability to change viewing angle/perspective on images, among other specifications.
