Haycom Invest in LSC Dimmers

Haycom Staging has purchased a number of LSC Lighting e24v2 touring dimmers. These units provide a complete portable solution with 24 channels of dimming, 2:1 series/parallel patch bay and Socapex or Weiland outputs connectors, all in a compact touring roadcase.
“They’re a nice, compact dimmer rack with flexible patching on them and LSC is a well regarded, reliable brand,” commented Steve Leiter, lighting director at Haycom Staging. Steve had a thorough look at all available dimmers on the market but the LSC e24v2 package stood out for a variety of reasons. In particular the LCD touch screen on the control panel impressed Steve. “It allows a quick access to all the functions via simple menus and also allows you to record internal scenes and looks via the DMX snapshots,” he said. The e24v2 also includes an LSCnet interface as standard, so the scenes can be recalled via ‘simple to use’ button remote control plates.
Although Haycom Staging has used LSC Power Distribution products in the past, recently purchasing even more, this is the first time that they have selected LSC dimmers. “The LSC Power Distribution products have always been good, well laid out and LSC have always provided great service,” added Steve. Since acquiring their new LSC dimmers, Haycom have had them out on every single production that they have done and Steve is especially impressed by the aesthetics of the dimmer rack.
“The e24v2 dimmer rack looks good too which is important for corporate work,” he said. “We do many small to medium sized shows and often, due to space limitations, the dimmer rack may be visible.”
The e24v2 Dimming System has fast become an industry standard for feature-packed small dimming systems. Utilising LSC’s proven PTFD dimmer technology, coupled with an extensive patch field, auxiliary power output circuits, mains distribution and professional flightcase, make the e24v2 ideal for the touring market, corporate or exhibition industries and mobile theatre applications.
