PeeL AV Steps Up to Dynacord Cobra-2
Based in Mandurah, Western Australia for over six years, Peel Audiovisual - one of the leading AV companies in WA - has provided quality service and equipment for thousands of successful events.
Peel AV recently took delivery of a Dynacord Cobra-2-PWH compact line array system from regional Dynacord dealers Audio Source. The purchase reflects Peel AV’s dedication to maintaining an up-to-date inventory to meet the growing demand for quality sound reinforcement in their region.
The Cobra system will set Peel AV at a new level, being the only portable line array available for hire in the Rockingham and Mandurah regions. The system recently made its debut in a half system configuration for Mirvac Fini's Jazz in the Park Concert in Meadow Springs.
The Peel AV crew were gob-smacked with the Cobra’s clarity, coverage, consistency and headroom: “I have to admit myself it was a good sound.” Steve Rowe, hire and sales manager of Peel AV noted. “I listened to a band through a PA from another leading manufacturer on Saturday night, and, even though they were a cover band and we were mixing a jazz band, the difference in sound quality was huge. The Cobra was clearer, and there was sound everywhere it was wanted.”
This event was an exact repeat of a March performance at the same location with the same band. In that light, Peel AV’s client commented favourably on the difference in sound quality six months later: "I thought the sound last time was superb, but this time the sound was so much better—and I didn't think it was possible to sound any better. It is definitely the best-sounding PA system that has been used for one of our events. We will definitely use Peel AV and this PA system for future events.
“I even had the general public coming up and asking about the system and how it can achieve so much clarity and coverage from so few cabinets,” Rowe added.
