Entertainment Technology NZ: Technology & Design 2007

Presented by ETNZ, the Theatre Technology NZ Conference 2007 event will be held at the TelstraClear Pacific, Manukau City, Auckland, from 12-15 May 2007. Conference registrations and a help desk will be situated in the main Theatre entrance foyer. The venue is approx. 15 minutes from Auckland Airport and 30 minutes by car from Auckland City. A location map and further details will be included with booking acknowledgements.

A bus service will be organised to run between Auckland Central and the conference venue in Manukau, timed to coincide with the conference timetable.

All workshop places will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Return the booking form by e-mail or fax to book your preferred workshop options but these can only be guaranteed when payment is received.

The organisers will provide a list of some accommodation with future mail-outs. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, the organising committee is not able to help out with accommodation and travel bookings. The dinner function will be based in Auckland Central and it is envisaged that the conference delegates will stay in accommodation in Auckland Central.

Morning, Afternoon Tea and Lunch will be provided for all registered conference delegates.

The conference dinner will be held on Sunday evening, 13 May. Cost for the dinner will be C$75.00 + GST and will include food, beverage and entertainment.

Conference attendance costs will be as follows: (all + GST, ETNZ member costs): Company/Venue registration (incl. one attendee) $330.00; Additional company/venue attendee $220.00; Individual participant (freelance worker) $220.00; Individual participant (daily) $130.00; Student (proof required) $44.00. All non-ETNZ members will be charged $100.00 extra and this fee will include an ETNZ membership for one year.

The entertainment industry Tradeshow will be open throughout the duration of the conference. At this stage we have very strong interest from companies throughout New Zealand and Overseas.

If you have any specific requests to visit venues and companies not included in the official sessions, please let us know and we will make every effort to organise a visit for you. We are also able to put you into contact with the key personnel at venues, companies, arts organisations, should you wish to meet during the conference.

Depending on the Productions at the time of the conference, a backstage visit at a major venue in Auckland will be organised on Saturday afternoon, 12 May. Discounted tickets may be available for a performance on Saturday evening.
