Lighthouse Technologies Launches LED Screen Brokerage
Lighthouse Technologies has announced its intention to provide added value for its customers by launching a used screen brokerage service.
Always aware of the needs of its clients, Lighthouse has seen an increase in requests from customers to help broker a growing demand from the second tier market. This will benefit both existing customers wishing to renew their panel fleet and potential customers who would like the advantages of Lighthouse LED video technology, but do not necessarily want to commit to the expense of new panels.
"We understand that an LED video panel is a serious financial commitment," explains Lighthouse senior sales manager David Thilwind. "And when our customers want to renew/upgrade their existing fleet, they need the best possible return on their initial investment. The new service we are offering, which is principally for Lighthouse product, will enable our customers to sell their stock through our brokerage service and thus realise capital to re-invest in new/upgraded equipment.
"This has the added benefit of opening up a second level of market for used panels. LED video panels typically work for up to 50,000 hours and a video panel for a rental application is typically being used for around 3,000 hours per annum. This means that many used panels have a significant amount of useful hours left when they come onto the second hand market. These can then be utilised by those clients wanting a lower initial investment level."
As an added value service on top of the basic brokerage fee - which would be borne by the seller - and for an additional cost to the buyer, Lighthouse can offer a range of inspection, refurbishment and re-calibration services of the used panels being purchased.
"We feel this new service will become a valuable addition to Lighthouse's offering," concludes Thilwind. "We believe it will help our existing and new customers achieve the best return for their investment, along with complete peace of mind backed by Lighthouse's well known commitment to service and support, whether they want to buy new or used Lighthouse LED video panels."
