Eurosystem ALU Simple Solution for Lifting Heavy Loads

Verlinde now offers modular aluminium structures for making custom scenographic handling systems for loads of 500 to 2000kg. The complete range of metal sections, trolleys and bindings offers several thousand solutions made from standard components. Easy and quick to assemble, Eurosystem ALU handling systems are 50% lighter than their steel equivalents, irrespective of whether they are single rail, mono-girder or bi-girder cranes.
Eurosystem ALU stands out because of its ease of assembly. The lightness of the aluminium sections facilitates easy positioning and handling for assembly. They can be moved and positioned manually without having to use any specific lifting equipment. The components and the system are connected to the supporting structure by bolts and do not require any special tools. The exterior grooves of the metal sections are compatible with the standardised item binding system. The sections are made by extrusion which means they are geometrically standardised resulting in an assembly that does not require mechanical adjustment.
Thanks to Verlinde’s Eurosystem ALU, the weight of the aluminium handling system is reduced by 50% compared with a traditional steel structure. In the case of new, restored or extended buildings, be they multi-purpose cinemas or theatres, significant savings are made in the support structure, which can be sized depending on the equipment.
In order to ensure silent effort-free movement, the trolley wheels are made of nylon, and the surface in contact with the internal part of the metal section has been reduced. For the operator, compared with steel rails, when manually moving loads, the movement coefficient of the trolley wheels is greatly reduced. Eurosystem ALU reduces the effort required for moving scenographic components (starting, positioning, stop).
Eurosystem ALU allows a large variety of handling methods to be carried out, whether loads are moved manually or motorised: single or complete monorail movement tracks with direction changed by shunting or multidirectional turning plate, suspended or recessed mono-girder crane. Suspended by trolleys, the girder moves along the movement track (manually or electrically), suspended or recessed bi-girder crane. A hoist trolley is proposed for exceptionally reduced heights.
Sealing plates on the ends avoids the metal twisting, keeps trolleys in the movement track at the end of the track and protects the metal sections against dust. A complete range of suspensions is offered for attaching the whole handling system to a supporting structure: vertical, oblique, fixed, wide etc. Also a huge selection of auto-lifting trolleys is available: manual trolleys, standard trolleys, bogie, articulated bogies, UKTM AL type motorised trolleys. A manual trolley can also be subsequently motorised. Lifting is done by Stagemaker hoists, offering a large choice of capacities and speeds.
Several options are available, short rails for circuits, integrated supply of AL2000, transfer systems, turning and shunting tables, directional or motorised translation trolleys.
