KV2 Audio Unveil 14 New Products

Following its busiest ProLight + Sound exhibition yet, KV2 Audio has introduced no fewer than 14 new products. These include the latest additions to the EX Active Series with a single 12" subwoofer, the EX1.2, and the double 6" high intelligibility EX26.

KV2 Audio's sister company KX Audio added to its range of MI targeted products with the 1000 Watt 3-way active loudspeaker, the KX30, comprising a 15" low frequency driver, a horn loaded 6" mid range driver and a 1" compression driver. Along with the KX30, an 850 watt single 18" subwoofer, the KX1.8, completes the KX range.

However, it wasn't just new additions to existing ranges that made the event so exciting for KV2 Audio. Three brand new product ranges were unveiled beginning with the ESD Series. The ESD Passive Series has been much anticipated as it allows users to utilise third party amplification for the first time with KV2 Audio's systems. For optimized performance, KV2 Audio's ESP4000 rack mountable four-channel 4X1000 watt amplifier has also been designed specifically for use with the ESD speakers. The 2-way 6" ESD 6 and 2-way 12" ESD 12 were also on show on KV2's stand with the arrival of the 2-way 10" ESD 10 also imminent.

In a further step towards creating the highest quality total audio solutions KV2 Audio has announced the LD Series. This is a selection of four DI style boxes that feature KV2's legendary VHD (Very High Definition) line drivers on every output making them some of the highest quality stage solutions available today. The range consists of the LDP Passive Line Driver, the LDD Direct Line Driver, the LDA Acoustic Instrument Line Driver and the LDM Mix Line Driver. The on-board VHD Line Drivers ensure maximum audio integrity and the lowest possible loss of signal through long lengths of cable.

In an exciting new avenue for KV2 Audio, the first cabinets in the Krampera range of electric instrument cabinets were unveiled. The B1 bass cabinet, featuring a single 12" driver and 1" compression driver, and the B1B bass cabinet, with a single 15" for added low end punch,

made their first appearances and were demo'ed by KV2 Audio's Mick Butler to great response from show goers and industry professionals alike.

All new products will be on show at the upcoming PLASA and PLASA Focus shows at Earls Court, London and The Royal Armouries, Leeds respectively, and there will be live demonstrations of new products at the Earls Court show.
