New Competitive Range of Soft Steels From LTM
LTM, Lift Turn Move Ltd has introduced a new competitive range of soft steels which can be seen on their website.
The soft steels are similar to round slings; they consist of a wire rope core with a Polyester cover. This Black cover ensures slings remain invisible in use and preventing damage to structures or aluminium truss.
They have the advantage of a wire rope load bearing interior. The 3mm 6x19 wire rope core gives greater flexibility than conventional wire round sling products.
The soft steels have the advantage of being fire resistant; they are suitable for use within a range of temperatures between -40ºC and +250ºC. An Inspection window enables easy access to inspect the wire rope centre.
LTM's soft steels are available in circumferences of up to 20 metres (10 metre Effective Working Length EWL) and all have a Working Load Limit capacity of 2 tonnes.
