RCF 4PRO 7001-A Active Touring Loudspeaker System
The new RCF 4PRO 7001-A is a powerful and precise sound system designed to work in concert sound applications, but is equally impressive in professional sound situations such as large clubs and theatres.
In creating this leading edge sound system, RCF have produced a system for both touring and professional applications. It is an arrayable, active, medium throw system that integrates a massive 950 Watts of Monolithic Tri-Amplification modules, a complete electronic processor section and “full neodymium” RCF low distortion, high power transducers.
The new 15” inch mid-bass is the result of the latest developments of RCF’s experience in speaker design and manufacture, resulting in an accurate and a tight bass response. The processor section includes active crossover, system equalization, transducer phase alignment, limiter and protection functions. The system is visually monitored from four status LEDs.
4PRO-7001 MH is the two way mid-high system in a trapezoidal enclosure for easy array applications, which contains a new RCF Precision Sealed Basket 10”horn loaded mid range device. The HF section being supplied by a new RCF Precision 2” Neodymium low distortion compression driver. The Mid High section offers a 60° x 40° long /medium throw combination.
4PRO-7001 is the active mid-bass section, including 2 x 15” high power RCF Precision neodymium mid-bass and the powered electronic. The two 15” are loaded in pass-band high efficiency configuration.
All components are housed in strong Baltic birch plywood enclosures. The woofers and mid-high horns are protected from full front, strong, powder coated, metal grilles. The cabinets feature M10 threaded fly points and eight 3-position fly-tracks. There are two side handles for easy portability for the Mid High and 4 side handles for the Bass cabinet.
As standard, the 7001-A is a ‘Three Way’ configured Active Speaker System. However, to add to the versatility you can easily convert the 7001-A into a uniquely outstanding 4 way Active System by adding the already established 4PRO 8001AS Active 18” Subwoofer System to each stack.
