Solid State Logic Report Exceptional Demand for Digital Consoles
Solid State Logic reports exceptional sales activity for its popular C100 digital broadcast console and C200 digital production consoles. The C-Series platform is the latest generation of Solid State Logic digital audio consoles. Over 80 C-Series digital consoles have been sold to date worldwide, including 35 ordered in North America since late 2003. The acceptance rate of SSL’s broadcast/production technology is both remarkable and trend setting for an industry quickly moving towards digital production and 5.1 audio.
“We are delighted with the response the broadcast and production industries have shown the C100 and C200 digital consoles,” says Niall Feldman, director of product marketing for Solid State Logic. “We are showing major software feature enhancements at this year’s NAB that provide the flexibility and control options requested by the industry. Features such as the C100’s TouchPan introduce a totally new yet elegantly simple way to approach 5.1 audio placements. There are also numerous enhancements to our advanced diagnostics and redundancy capabilities. We are seeing continued world-wide interest in the C-Series as broadcasters of all types come to rely on the exceptional power and performance that the C100 and C200 deliver to their specific applications.
