Martin’s Versatile LED Stagebar 54

Martin Professional’s Stagebar 54 is a compact, powerful LED luminaire with a comprehensive color range, all-in-one simplicity and a tough temperament for the touring market. It functions as a pixel bar for displaying imagery and video or as a wash luminaire for floodlighting surfaces and stages.

The Stagebar 54 is extremely bright – bright enough to be matched with other light sources. With five coloured diodes (red, green, blue, amber and white), instead of the usual three, the Stagebar 54 offers a broader and finer range of colours. Lens options include a 29° standard lens or opaque diffuser.

With the Stagebar Martin has solved what has been one of the major drawbacks of LED lighting: colour consistency. A central feature of the Stagebar 54 is the ability to create even and consistent colours. Each pixel board has been measured and calibrated, guaranteeing standardised brightness and colour performance.

In order to ensure the best possible lumen performance, on-demand fans monitor and regulate cooling. The smart heat management extends the lifespan of diodes while maintaining acoustic levels to benefit TV or sound-sensitive applications.

A simple, unique, all-in-one solution circumvents some of the logistic and set-up problems associated with LED lighting. For example, each Stagebar unit has direct power and DMX inputs so there is no need for external power supplies or additional cables and DMX boxes. And units are daisy chain capable saving miles of cable spaghetti. A battery-powered control menu on every fixture lets you configure and address the units off-site even when fixtures are not powered up and the standard Omega bracket or the included mounting system allows both truss and floor mounting and doubles as a carrying handle. Additionally, cutouts in end profiles make horizontal fixture alignment quick, easy and accurate, and the Stagebar 54 is lightweight at 5.5 or 7.3 kg (12.1 or 16.1 lbs.).

To give maximum flexibility, Martin has provided four distinct control modes - RGB, RGBAW, HIS (Hue, Saturation, Intensity), HSIC (Hue, Saturation, Intensity, Colour Temperature). This gives the option of simple and effective control economising on channels, or full comprehensive control when a designer needs it. In addition, the Stagebar offers four pixel control modes that let you control pixels individually or in groups of two, three or six. The Stagebar 54 is controlled by industry standard DMX 512-A. RJ-45 connectors and optional XLR adapters give maximum flexibility.

Rigorously tested and CE, ETL & CETL approved, the Stagebar 54 is built for simplicity. With an auto sensing switch mode power supply, simple lens and LED access, and an ergonomic construction that makes for fast and easy cleaning, the Stagebar 54 is as trouble-free at LED can be.
