Clay Paky New Products at PLASA

Clay Paky will launch three smaller moving body projectors at PLASA 2007. They are for professional use and designed with the same big features as the regular Alpha Series. They are the Alpha Spot HPE 300 and Alpha Spot 300 effects projectors and the Alpha Wash 300 washlight.

These new 300 Watt models are stunning for brightness, graphic variety, optical system and performance, often also allowing them to be used professionally in place of larger sized projectors, say Clay Paky. Unmatched in performance, they are of limited size and weight that makes their installation and use ideal in highly professional environments, bringing considerable investment and operating economy. All these features make the Alpha 300 Series excellent for every professional sector – from theatre to television, from corporate events to clubs and for rental companies of all sizes.

The Alpha Spot HPE 300 is compact, light, silent, easy to install and extremely bright, with superior graphic and optical performances. It is claimed to be the most ‘complete’ spot in its category and contains a wide zoom, CMY, 8+1 Colour Wheel, 15 gobos (of which eight are rotating) and combinable together, rotating prism, linear frost, smooth frost, 0-100% dimming on dedicated channel, iris and stop/strobe. With its electronic ballast as standard, Alpha Spot HPE 300 is the ideal tool for every professional sector, where it is required to combine the advantages of being “little” with being “big”.

The Alpha Spot 300 has the same optical, lighting engineering and construction qualities as the Alpha Spot HPE 300, and is ideal for the more essential applications with restricted investment levels. It is fitted with two 8+1 colour wheels combinable together, 15 gobos (of which eight are rotating) combinable together, rotating prism, 0-100% dimmer on dedicated channel and stop/strobe. A version with electronic ballast is also available.

The Alpha Wash 300 is a compact, light and very silent washlight that is easy to install and extremely bright. The CMY system and 8+1 colour wheel can provide any required tonality and an unrivalled colour quality. Two levels of frost on dedicated channels provide diffusion of the colour in a linear and uniform way, even from short distances, permitting its universal use in the most demanding professional sectors. A 0-100% dimmer on dedicated channel and stop/strobe effect complete the effects section. A version with electronic ballast is also available.
