Cloud Release Two Innovations for PLASA 07

This year’s PLASA Show will mark a new stage in the history of Cloud Electronics as, for the first time; the company will unveil two new products at the London event. The new models, the CXV-425 Amp and the DCM-1 + CDR-1 8ch Output Zoner, will be available for demonstration on stand N30.
The increase in high quality 100v solutions has created a need for high quality and higher output amplifiers. Traditional transformer output 100v line amplifiers are inherently fraught with problems; bulky and heavy with limited frequency response and prone to saturation, all at a high cost. The transformer-less topology employed in the design of the CXV transformer-less 4 x 250W 100v line amplifier will give the installer/contractor the perfect solution for larger commercial and industrial applications. Key features include: 4 x 250watts @ 4ohms, transformer-less topology, EQ card options, VCA options, clip limiter, DC and thermal protection, mono-stereo switch and flexible input routing switches.
Cloud’s second offering, the DCM-1, provides any space-conscious sound installation with a high level of flexibility, but without the need of a PC. It is ideal for contractors/installers who require flexible routing of line and mic signals. The analogue zoner, with its simple-to-use digital control interface, can be controlled remotely via multiple LCD digital controllers. Optional active input modules extend the flexibility further. The DCM-1 is Cloud’s first ever microprocessor controlled multi zoner. With traditional “installer friendly” analogue I/O and signal path, but giving the contractor the flexibility and adaptability of digital control. The traditional simplicity of Cloud products, with far greater functionality.
Key features include: mic paging and overrides, configurable multiple remote, controls with “grouping” capability, EQ can be set by remote controls, 8 balanced outputs (2 stereo + 6 mono), configurable line priority by zone, remote active line and mic modules, RS232 interface for AMX/Crestron, accepts BOSE EQ cards, no PC required.
