SGM's New Giotto Wash and Spot Fixtures Provide all Options
According to each project's needs, designers can decide to personalise the new Giotto 1500, making it a wash, spot, profile or digital fixture, by simply interchanging the removable modules into which all the optic functions have been divided.
In Wash configuration, the Giotto 1500 features two modules: "CMY" and the dedicated "Wash" module, with all the features that enable the fixture to emit diffused, soft even light. The CMY module, has CMY colour mixing system, linear CTO filter and dimmer (common to all four types). The Wash Module, has a twin-blade beam shaper, field diaphragm, zoom lens, frost and customizable colour wheel (Wash configuration).
Once the chosen version's modules are assembled, the fixture's electronics and the software will "identify" them and automatically adapt to suit them.
Three dedicated lenses are available for the fixture in Wash configuration: the Fresnel lens enables to obtain a beam for even colouring, the Anti-halo PC lens gives a very narrow intense beam with a limited soft edge field, and the Super Wide lens gives a very wide even beam aperture.
In Spot configuration, the Giotto 1500 is perfect for those looking for a fixture with top-class expressive potential, featuring practically endless effects and an extremely powerful light beam.
Thanks to its exclusive assembly format, the unit is easily built, fitting the "CMY", "Spot" and "Zoom Focus" modules one after another. The CMY module has CMY colour mixing system, linear CTO filter and dimmer (common to all four types); the Spot module has with two gobo wheels that can be customised, an animation wheel and a customizable and indexable colour wheel (Spot configuration); the Zoom Focus module has focus-zoom, shutter, prisms and additional lenses and linear frost (Spot and Profile configuration).
As with the Wash fixture, the chosen version's modules are assembled, the fixture's electronics and the software will "identify" them and automatically adapt to suit them.
Both Wash and Spot units come with a MSR Gold 1200 FastFit lamp adjustable from 900W to 1400W and are compatible with the new MRS Gold 1500 FastFit.
