projectiondesign Showcases WUXGA Resolution and Three-Chip Projectors at PALME Middle East

On show will be the latest 1920x1200 WUXGA high resolution DLP technology which is incorporated in projectiondesign’s F10 and F30 series projectors. The company will also be showing the new F80 1080 and cineo80 1080, rojectiondesign’s first three-chip DLP projectors and the most compact of their kind currently available.
The WUXGA resolution incorporated in the F10 and F30 is the highest resolution display available in the market at this level. Each projector reproduces images at 1920 x 1200 pixels and in a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Projectiondesign see WUXGA as a much better fit for the reproduction of computer resolutions than the more common 1080p, as it tends to be more focused on video centric applications. The higher resolution provides more pixels on screen, and fits the native resolution of many graphics cards, including high-end laptops and portable computers. WUXGA resolution gives more than 56 per cent higher resolution over SXGA+, which is projectiondesign’s most popular resolution today.
In addition, the 1920x1200 WUXGA resolution is also backwards compatible with standard UXGA at 1600 x 1200 resolution, making it suitable for upgrading older projection systems to wide screen.
