Meyer Sound at PALME Middle East
At PALME Middle East in Dubai, Meyer Sound (stand 7D20) will present a variety of the latest audio technology to sound professionals in the rapidly growing region. The new UPQ-1P wide coverage loudspeaker will be featured, along with Meyer Sound's best-known self-powered loudspeaker and signal control products for attendees seeking integrated audio solutions for corporate AV, large-scale event production, and commercial and residential installation applications.
Making its regional debut is Meyer Sound's UPQ-1P loudspeaker, which features flexible rigging options, wide vertical coverage and gradual off-axis rolloff. The UPQ-1P is ideally suited for permanent installations including theaters and nightclubs, as well as portable event production applications. The self-powered loudspeaker houses 1,275 watts of total amplifier power, a 15-inch neodymium magnet low frequency driver, and a four-inch diaphragm compression driver coupled to an 80-degree by 50-degree constant directivity horn. UPQ-1P carries a peak power output of 136 dB SPL and exhibits exceptionally flat phase and amplitude response.
In an extremely small package, the newly released self-powered MM-4XP delivers an impressive maximum peak SPL of 113 dB and is an ideal solution for installations involving space and visibility concerns. MM-4XP can be custom-painted to match specific color schemes.
A must-see for high-end residential system integrators, the revolutionary X-10T linear control room monitor will make a rare trade show appearance. Finished with an elegant walnut veneer, the X-10T is the tower version of the cutting-edge X-10 monitor, exhibiting near-perfect linearity for astounding clarity and unequalled depth of field. The X-10T uses patented PSAC pressure sensing active control circuitry, a sophisticated feedback technology originally developed for control systems on USAF stealth aircrafts.
The petite M'elodie line array loudspeaker will be shown, along with the prodigiously powerful MILO line array loudspeaker. MILO is serving as the main system in a number of international music events, including Celine Dion's "Taking Chances" world tour and its recent sold-out stop in Dubai.
Other self-powered systems at the stand include Meyer Sound's 700-HP subwoofer, the full-range CQ-1 loudspeaker, UPA-1P loudspeaker, UPJ-1P VariO loudspeaker and its slightly smaller variant, UPJunior VariO loudspeaker.
Visitors can also experience the company's powerful and robust digital signal processing and prediction tools including MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction program, Matrix3 audio show control system and Galileo loudspeaker management system featuring Compass control software.
