Denmark – More than 130,000 people and 184 artists were able to witness the AVB debut of Luminex Network Intelligence in a strong co-operation with Bright Group and Meyer Sound systems at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. On both the Orange stage and the Arena stage audio was running on AVB protocol from Meyer Sound Galileo Galaxy 816 network platform through a rock-solid network of 28 GigaCore 10 switches of Luminex Network Intelligence.

Four ESTA Standards Approved

On 6th November, ANSI's Board of Standards Review approved four ESTA standards. Three are new or revised standards and one is the reaffirmation without changes of an existing standard. UK – AEG Europe has announced the appointments of John Langford (currently vice president and general manager of The O2) as chief operating officer, Paul Reeve (currently finance director of The O2 & The SSE Arena, Wembley) as chief financial officer, and Emma Bownes (currently programming director) in the newly created role of vice president of programming across AEG's European venue portfolio. Their appointments follow the recent news that Alex Hill will take over as president of AEG Europe from 1st January 2019.

L-Acoustics takes on Pentaport Rock Festival’s biggest challenge

South Korea – For the past 13 years, Incheon, South Korea has hosted the Pentaport Rock Festival, held in the city’s Pentaport Park for three days each summer. Produced by Yescom Entertainment, it is one of the country’s biggest live music events and covers a wide variety of musical genres. This year it featured the industrial rock of Nine Inch Nails, the moody electronica of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, the shifting nuances of My Bloody Valentine and rocking performances from local favourites including Jaurim and Daybreak.
