USA – August Hall is following in some giant footsteps. Opened this spring in the heart of Union Square, the 1,000-capacity club is only a short distance from legendary music halls like the original Fillmore West, as well as leading current day entertainment sites like the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, The Masonic, and Great American Music Hall. Building on this tradition, while adding next-generation lighting and sound technology, the new venue, which has a partnership with Live Nation, is hosting artists from every musical genre as well as comedians and corporate events.

WarnierPosta Joins Global Family of Post-Production Facilities with Meyer Sound Monitoring

The Netherlands – WarnierPosta of Amsterdam is among the latest additions to a growing family of independent audio post-production studios that rely on Meyer Sound’s self-powered monitoring systems. Opened at the end of 2017, WarnierPosta’s new Dolby-certified Atmos re-recording room is housed in a 1,100 square metre facility overlooking Amsterdam harbour. The new facility already has credits on a number of notable film productions, including two selections for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
