Anthony Field Retires from theatre Projects Board
Anthony Field steped down from being vice-chairman of Theatre Projects Consultants on 30th September when he retired from the Board after twenty years. The Company is then closing its West-End office and concentrating all its work at its headquarters in Kentish Town.
The chairman, Richard Pilbrow, announced that as from 1st October Anthony Field is appointed as chairman of Theatre Projects Trust which was established in 1970 with the object to commission and promote plays and musicals of artistic merit and provide opportunities for training in all forms of theatre including the technical aspects of production.
One of the Trust's early ventures was to commence the Stage Management Course at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) which was run for some twenty years under the supervision of Robert Stanton.
Previous chairs of the Trust were Michael Oliver, Zoe Dominic and Richard Pilbrow.
Anthony Field and his Assistant Elizabeth Lomas will continue to work.from the Penthouse at 7 Leicester Place which will become the Registered Office of Theatre Projects Trust.
These offices will also operate as a base for the new consultancy company launched as Anthony Field Associates which will concentrate on Arts Management Consulting.
