Audio-Technica at SBES

Audio-Technica will be exhibiting its portfolio of market leading broadcast production microphones and wireless microphone systems at the Sound Broadcasting Equipment Show 2004 in Birmingham on 24th and 25th November 2004.
Audio-Technica's shotgun microphones set the benchmark for broadcast sound applications and the new AT897 Short Shotgun microphone is no exception. Competitively priced, this compact Line + Gradient condenser microphone is designed to capture high quality field audio in the most demanding situations. Phantom or internal battery powered, it is just 11 inches long and weighs only 145 g.
Also new to the A-T range is the AT898 "subminiature" cardioid condenser lavalier microphone. This joins the AT899 "subminiature" omni-directional condenser lavalier. Both these models provide superior sound quality from a microphone just 5 mm in diameter. Available in black or beige skin tone, features include a switchable low frequency roll-off switch, phantom or battery power operation and a range of optional terminations.
The AT898 and AT899 form part of the new Broadcast+Production Series of lavalier, handheld, boundary, gooseneck, shotgun and stereo models, designed for broadcast, theatre and event production applications, which is being exhibited.
Also being show are the Artist Elite 4000/5000 Series true diversity, frequency agile, UHF wireless systems. A demonstration will be given throughout the show of the system connectivity and Macintosh or Windows based Ethernet based display and control capabilities of the Artist Elite receiver systems. Other unique features include AT's innovative Intelliscan frequency selection and dual-band compansion and the 'intelligent' digital Tone Lock squelch system.
