Burridge Mixes 365 with Xone
Prominent house DJ, Lee Burridge, has selected Allen & Heath’s valve rotary Xone:V6 mixer for his home studio.
“I’ve been DJ'ing for 20 years and this is by far the best sounding and most exciting mixer I have ever had the pleasure of using, which might sound contrived but that’s the way it is!” comments Burridge. “If I was to sum up the Xone:V6 in one word, it would be ‘smooth’. I love everything about it: the sonic purity; the feel of the faders - it’s like mixing in caramel; those legendary filters - such a simple effect but very dramatic; and, of course, the whole aesthetic look with the dials and meters.”
Burridge will be embarking on a tour entitled ‘365’ next year, taking up month-long residencies in cities across all the continents, and inviting other DJs to perform guest slots. He will be using the Xone:V6 and Xone:92 models throughout the tour. He also has plans to produce a mix album on the Xone:V6.
