d&b audiotechnik China Established
d&b audiotechnik (China) Ltd has been established in Hong Kong, and is the result of a co-operation between d&b audiotechnik and their existing distribution partner for the region since 2002, Sound Works & Supplies. The main rationale behind this venture is to develop closer relations within this enormous and diverse market. d&b audiotechnik China will take on the task of providing the distribution and support for the whole of China, Hong Kong and Macau.
Through this office d&b will be able to provide its customers with a far more convenient and faster before and after sales support for its range of professional reinforcement systems. Mr. Freddie To, the sales and marketing director for the new company commented: “d&b audiotechnik is an established and well respected brand in Europe, who are totally focused on the complete system approach. This approach encompasses loudspeakers, control electronics and mechanical accessories that are totally compatible, as well as the provision of remote control and monitoring, easy-to-use support software, scheduled training seminars and a full commitment to efficient technical support and a repair service.
“Provided the economic situation continues to improve many large international events will be staged over the next few years in China, so we feel it is the right time to introduce d&b audiotechnik s system approach into this market. I am really looking forward to this new challenge with d&b.”
Sound Works & Supplies will continue to represent d&b audiotechnik as a partner under the leadership of Daniel Chan. During prolight+sound in Shanghai Peter Tongue, who is d&b audiotechnik’s sales director, introduced the new company with the following comments: “Our relationship with Sound Works & Supplies has been one that has been very fruitful over the last years, and this new venture will solidify our commitment to this market, something that we feel is very important for our customers and users. We are really excited about this new company and feel privileged to have such a skilled team on board to work with in the future.”
