db Technologies launch Basic Line Active Speakers
dB Technologies have introduced a new line of budget speakers, Basic Line.
This new line of active speakers is aimed at the DJ or musician who may be just beginning to work. It is also an ideal speaker for schools, churches and many other applications where budgets are important.
Like any dB Technologies product, Basic Line offers high reliability and market driven features. There are two models available, Basic 200 and Basic 400 with power amps of 320W, 550W respectively. Both models are equipped with a 12” woofer and a 1” driver, powered by two separate amplifiers with integrated phase and sound correction circuits. The speakers comes with a built in limiter, to protect it against overload and distortion, with a status-LED indication.
The input sensitivity can be switched from line to microphone level, using the XLR or Jack input plug. Output level can be adjusted by a volume control.
