Meyer for Cheltenham
Cheltenham Stage Services, one of southwest England’s leading lighting and sound rental companies, has recently purchased a substantial complement of Meyer Sound self-powered loudspeaker systems. Supplied by Marquee Audio of London, the new Meyer Sound inventory comprises eight MSL-4 horn-loaded long-throw loudspeakers, four 650-P high power subwoofers, and four UPA-1P compact wide-coverage loudspeakers.
According to the company’s general manager, Stephen Roskilly, the new system already has generated additional business. “It’s become a drawing card for getting work,” he says. “We’ve already won jobs – over some fairly substantial players – simply by saying we would be using the Meyer product.”
