New Scandinavian Office for d&b audiotechnik
In 1989 Claus Hansen set up in Aarhus, Denmark the first 'overseas' office ever opened by d&b audiotechnik. Some years later, the operation moved out to the countryside and now the office is on the move again back to its roots in the centre of Aarhus. This move is the result of Claus Hansen leaving the company this autumn.
Jette Lykke Pedersen and Lars Frederiksen, who have been with d&b audiotechnik working in the Scandinavian market since 1996 and 2003 respectively, are running the new office. Both have considerable experience in this market and will share the responsibilities for supporting d&b's partners in the region, Jette with her marketing background and Lars having spent many years working as a sound engineer and consultant.
Simon Johnston, d&b audiotechnik's marketing director commented: "Scandinavia has always been an important market to us which was reflected by the early establishment of a d&b office. Claus Hansen has put a lot of effort into establishing the company in this region over the years and we now wish him all the success in his new endeavours. This move to a new and larger location underlines d&b's commitment to maintaining close relationships with our established partners who provide a high level of support at local level in each of the Scandinavian countries. As the requirements in Scandinavia grow we are confident that we will be able to match all these markets' needs from this new base."
