Stagecraft Hire Business Expands
Production company Stagecraft reports a 10% growth in business for its hire department during the first quarter of 2004.
Mike Naish, technical director at Stagecraft commented: “We have been delighted with the growth of the hire department during this first quarter and have plans to increase this further as the year progresses. Earlier in 2004 we invested in new cutting edge sound and lighting equipment to meet an increase in demand, and this has enabled us to hire technically advanced equipment for longer periods for larger events such as the music event at Framlingham Castle in Cambridge.”
The Salisbury based company is well-known for its expertise in management and technical production of large and small music events, festivals and corporate events throughout the UK.
During 2004 Stagecraft has been involved in the technical support of events such as the Salisbury Festival, the Shrewton Festival, music events at Larmer Tree Gardens and also the five-week music festival at Framlingham Castle in Cambridge. Mike Naish continued: “The Summer has been very busy with hire and technical management for new music events and festivals, and we are looking forward to this continuing with productions scheduled throughout the year.”
Stagecraft’s live events and hire division produces conferences and exhibitions, as well as providing equipment and technical support for corporate events, festivals, parties and meetings in the UK and abroad. The sales and projects division supplies and installs equipment from all leading lighting and sound manufacturers to the educational, amateur and professional entertainment sectors.
