CIE-Audio Launch B-52 Attack
CIE-Audio has announced the launch of the B-52 loudspeaker range into the UK market. With its official UK launch at the ‘Music Live’ Show at the NEC, the US professional speaker range features more than 80 innovative, high end solutions for permanent installation, live performance, sound reinforcement and mobile DJ applications.
Already a respected and successful brand in America, CIE-Audio has been appointed as exclusive representatives for B-52 in the UK, to join CIE-Group’s already extensive portfolio of key represented brands including Inter-M, Switchcraft, Armstrong i-ceilings, Chaiyo, Euromet and Amina.
“We’re extremely pleased with our latest appointment,” says Chris Edwards, CIE-Group’s marketing manager. “Over the past two years our involvement in the Pro Audio and AV markets has increased significantly and has become key to the continued growth of the company. Together with our leading market share of the architectural/installation audio industry, the addition of the B-52 music speaker range will provide an ideal addition to our portfolio.”
With it’s success based upon quality and innovative product development, B-52 has previously won the American Disc Jockey Product of the Year Award for its ‘ACT-18’ active subwoofer featuring 1200-watt digital amplifier weighing just 6lbs. Most recently this same technology has been incorporated into B-52’s ‘LX-18A’ – creating the world’s first active folded horn subwoofer.
B-52’s extensive product line also features a complete series of high end permanent installation music speakers ranging from 300-watt low ceiling systems for late night venue/AV installation, right through to the PA-1515X dual 15” 1300-watt full range system for live sound and playback environments.
“Even before the official brand launch, we’re already seeing incredible interest on a number of B-52 products,” adds Edwards. “The Matrix 700-watt and 1200-watt Active Speaker Systems provide complete sound reinforcement solutions consisting of two 10” or 12” two-way speakers and active subwoofer. In addition to the launch of B-52’s loudspeaker range, Music Live will also see the exclusive UK launch of the B-52 ‘Stealth Series’ of All-Tube and Solid State guitar amplifiers, speakers and combos into the live performance retail market.
